In 1996 the Curzon was saved by the community and granted charity status, starting a new chapter in the Cinema’s rich history.
From an £8.50 ticket, the Curzon keep on average £3 after VAT and distributor fees. But 100% of donations go towards looking after our heritage building and our community outreach work.

We need your help to ensure the Curzon can continue both as a heritage venue encapsulating the story of cinema-going in Britain and as the cultural beating heart of the community. Each year we welcome 70,000 visitors to experience the magic of cinema. We work with lots of local organisations to curate a varied programme of over 100 films and live events each year, including Clevedon School, and offer many performance opportunities for students.
